Dr Sider personally will evaluate each and every patient. They will not be evaluated or treated by a physician's
assistant or nurse assistant. He enjoys treating all of his patients and monitoring their progress as they
recover from their problems, injuries, or recent surgery. He has a particular interest in sports injuries having
been involved both as a participant and spectator his entire life. Dr Sider also has a particular affinity for
helping young athletes recover from their injuries so they can return to their previous sport at full capacity while minimizing the chance of a recurrence of the injury.



Dr Sider also has a particular interest in sports injuries especially the shoulder and knee.  He enjoys
performing various arthroscopic procedures which he has been doing since arthroscopic procedures
became more prevalent in the mid 1980s. Most of the surgeries performed are ambulatory procedures
and take place at the North Shore @ Plainview Hospital ambulatory facility and the North Shore@
Syosset Hospital ambulatory center.


Dr Sider and his staff believe that all patients deserve quality orthopedic care in addition to
courteous, compassionate and efficient care from the entire office staff.
